KURALON
The reason for KURALON’s affinity with water lies in the molecular structure of KURALON. KURALON, as shown in the right drawing, has OH radical. Water is expressed as H2O in chemical formula and is very similar to the OH radical that KURALON has. OH radical has a property of attracting H2O as it belongs to the similar group. That is the reason why KURALON has hydrophilic property.
