Wooden floors have become very popular in Japan, and are used in many houses for their eye-friendly appearance. Paper made from KURALON is used as a reinforcement material of floors by attaching to the underside along with resin adhesives.
Why is the paper made from KURALON used?
- Affinity with rubber, cement and resin.
- As wooden floors are made of wooden material, it has weak points , that it's easy to crack and break. To prevent such damage, wooden floors are reinforced by applying resin adhesives on its underside. As paper made from KURALON are compatible with resin, it is useful in reinforcing the wooden floor.
- Strong paper（Functions as a binder fiber）
- As paper made from KURALON is a fine and firm paper, it can support the flooring material from its underside. Also, as paper made from KURALON have moderate expandability, it can endure expansion and shrinkage of flooring material induced by change in the air temperature or humidity.
